DX53D/ SGCD2/SGCD3 Galvanized Sheet Description

The material of DX53D galvanized sheet is a cold-rolled steel sheet with a hot-dip zinc coating. The substrate is a low-carbon steel with excellent deep-drawing and forming properties, while the zinc coating provides corrosion resistance through sacrificial protection.
It is produced through a continuous hot-dip galvanizing process, where the cleaned steel strip is immersed in molten zinc and then cooled to form a metallurgically bonded zinc‑iron alloy layer.
The product is widely used in automotive panels, home appliance housings, and other deep‑drawn or severely formed parts that require both high formability and good corrosion resistance.
